1. How is UET aggregate calculated?
UET aggregate is calculated based on your ECAT score, Matric (SSC) marks, and Intermediate (HSSC (Part-1) / HSSC) marks. The weightage typically follows this formula:
1. ECAT: 30%
2. Intermediate (HSSC Part 1 or complete): 45%
3. Matric (SSC): 25%

2. Who is eligible for UET admission?
To apply for BSc Engineering and Computer Science programs, you must meet these criteria:
• Minimum Marks: At least 60% marks in Intermediate (FSc/DAE) and Matric.
• Entry Test: Appearance in the UET Entry Test (ECAT) is mandatory.
• Subject Combination: You must have studied the relevant subjects (e.g., Math, Physics, Chemistry/CS) in Intermediate. Pre-Medical students can apply for CS and certain Engineering fields but must pass deficiency Math courses.

4. What is the difference between Category A1 and A2?
UET offers admissions mainly under two categories:
- Category A1 (Subsidized/Open Merit): Highly competitive. Students pay standard tuition fees. Requires a Punjab domicile.
- Category A2 (Partially Subsidized/Self-Finance): Lower merit requirement than A1. Students pay a higher fee. Open to Punjab domicile holders.
